Interior of Grey Ghost Detroit

Grey Ghost Detroit is the newest member of the city’s culinary scene. The Brush Park restaurant takes its name from an infamous Prohibition-era liquor smuggler who brought alcohol into the city from Canada. Chefs Joe Giacomino and John Vermiglio met while working in the restaurant kitchens of Chicago. “[We wanted] to bridge the gap between what is a traditional steakhouse [with a] neighbor restaurant feel to it,” Giacomino says. WDET’s Amanda LeClaire spoke with them at Grey Ghost Detroit.
