The Scarab Club Kicks Off A New Live Music Series and Youth Workshops Next Week

Musicians from Planet D Nonet, along with a group of young jazz students, will perform the music of the Kings of Kansas City swing during an all-ages workshop at the Berkley First United Methodist Church on Monday, March 20. Longtime Detroit jazz musician RJ Spangler is with Planet D Nonet, he’ll also lead a concert in May honoring Kansas City jazz at The Scarab Club in Detroit.
