London indie darlings The xx are bringing their largest-yet stage production to Detroit’s Masonic Temple on May 2.

CultureShift Correspondent Ryan Patrick Hooper interviews Jamie xx about the record he wanted to sample by a Detroit artist, how the band’s live show has transformed over the years and the risk that comes along with changing the set list at the last minute.
