Detroit musician Martez Claybren’s debut album ‘Raised in the Jungle’   will be released this weekend at The Gallery in Detroit. It’s an energetic mix of pop hooks, club music, and booty bass.  Listen above to CultureShift’s Amanda LeClaire sat down with Claybren to talk about the how growing up on an aural diet of local radio, MTV, and mixtapes influenced his sound.
